Hey everyone
Last night, I downloaded the upcoming build of Yahoo! Messenger, Yahoo! Messenger 10 Beta, to try it out and to check out the new features they’ve added to it and of course, to try out their high-quality video calling feature, which has been replaced with their previous webcam viewing feature, which I think, was utterly crap. Every time I used My Webcam on Yahoo! Messenger, it just failed terribly. The low quality was disgusting, the speed/communication between My Computer and the Yahoo! Video/ Webcam Server was just poor and random times when I’d be broadcasting My Webcam, it would just freeze and it would permanently stay frozen until I disconnected and re-establish a new connection with the server. As this issue went on, I got so tired of it, I decided to move to MSN Live Messenger to Video Chat with My Friends, which I still did until I installed Yahoo! Messenger 10 Beta.
I must say, Yahoo!, you’ve actually did a good job this time and I hope the new high-quality video calling feature shows a big rise in Video Calling on Yahoo! Messenger this year.
